빠르게 변화하는 미디어 세상 속에서 수백만개의 밈이 재생산되는 사회에서, 우리는 현재의 문화인 밈을 어떻게 받아들여야할지 고민을 해보고, 어떻게 다시 재생산하여 새로운 문화를 만들어야할지에 대해 고민해야한다. 현재의 밈에 대한 아카이빙은 우리에게 필요한 숙제이다. 이 책인<MEME dictionary of now >에서 필자는 2020년 현재 유행하고 있는 밈에 대한 가벼운 아카이빙에서부터 시작해, 밈이란 무엇인가에 대한 고민과 함께 사회적인 관점에서 밈으로 여겨지는 것들까지 확장시켜 주제에 대해 13개의 표제어를 가지고 유쾌하게 풀어내고자 하였다.
In a society where millions of memes are reproduced in a rapidly changing MEDIA WORLD, we must think about how to accept memes, the current culture, and how to reproduce them as a new culture. Archiving current memes are necessary task we need. In this book, <MEME dictionary of now>, I tried to start with light(funny) archiving of memes that are popular as of 2020, and expand them to what is considered memes from a social point of view to solve them pleasantly with 13 headlines.
