[DOOR]는 서울과 런던을 기반으로 미디어아트, 페인팅, 설치작업으로 활동하는 작가 6인으로 구성된 프로젝트 그룹이며, 김수진, 박주연, 박현진, 백광민, 이지수, 추아영이 함께한다. 작가들은 초현실적이고 비정형적 이미지로 실험적인 시각적 표현을 추구한다. 작업을 통해 관람객의 상상력을 자극하고 그들에게 새로운 시각을 제공하고자 하며, 시각적 재미뿐만 아니라 지적 재미 또한 함께 주고자 한다. 그래서 작가들은 캔버스(종이, 화면, 공간)을 통해 미지의 세상으로 향하는 문(DOOR)이 되기로 했다. 작가들은 미지의 행성처럼 잘 알려지지 않은, 호기심과 상상력을 필요로 하는 다양한 주제의 작업을 [LIFT OFF]전시를 통해 선보인다. 우리의 문 너머에서 당신의 세상도 발견하길 바라면서.



[DOOR] is a project group consisting of six artists working in media art, painting, and installation based in Seoul and London, and will be joined by Kim Sujin, Park Juyeon, Park Hyunjin, Baek Gwangmin, Lee Jisoo and ChuAyoung. We pursue experimental visual expressions with surreal and unstructured images. Through the work, we want to stimulate the imagination of visitors and provide them with a new perspective, and we want to give them intellectual fun as well as visual fun. Therefore, we decided to become DOOR to the unknown through canvas (paper, screen, and space). We present work on a variety of subjects that require curiosity and imagination, which is not as well known as an unknown planet, through the [LIFT OFF] exhibition. Hoping to discover your world beyond our door, too.
